Excellent tour. The routes chosen were some of the most scenic I’ve cycled. The tour company that Bruce partnered with, Greek Cycling Tours, did a great job of picking restaurants and activities to provide a real Greek experience. Most of the routes were low traffic but hillier than I expected. I was glad I rented an ebike. Bruce and his co-leader and wife, Karyn, were also good at engaging everyone in our group and in promoting a positive group dynamic.

10 days straight of biking was too much for me. Would be better to have a day off in the middle. I did not enjoy the longer day of 70 miles and way too much traffic. I will not do a ride that has that much traffic and narrow roads because it is too dangerous. If I had known before the trip I would not have done it. Overall, it was an awesome trip and beautiful route. The leaders did a great job taking care of us and all the places we stayed were amazing with super great food! I would do it again but just not on the roads with high traffic.

I just had an unbelievable experience in Greece with a great ride leader Bruce and Steven's crew from Greece. It was what I had hoped for. We had great meals, fun times,met new people, we were taken on great excursions learning about the history of each area we bikes thru. The rides were challenging but doable. The weather was perfect the entire time. I met new friends and will have great memories forever. Thank You

About People Cycling

People Cycling is a bicycle touring club, which you can join for free. We offer Domestic and International Cycling Tours which are led by volunteer Ride Leaders. Our tours are made up of a small group of participants (typically 15-20 or so) who want to ride an average of 30 to 55 miles a day over a one or two week period in interesting regions of the world. Our tours range in price from frugal getaways to luxurious adventures. We travel road, gravel, or mountain bike styles, and all bicycle types – including e-bikes, recumbents, and tandems are typically allowed.

Our ride leaders are volunteers and do not financially profit on tours they lead. They are also given broad discretion on how to lead their tours, and we consider them our greatest asset.

People Cycling tours are operated at cost or at lower cost (as negotiated by our ride leaders) than individuals can obtain on commercial tours. Within the cost of a tour, there is a nominal fee to support club operations and provide tools to ride leaders to manage their rides.
