OVERVIEW
Join us for a frolic in the bluegrass state for a tour of several bourbon distilleries, wineries, bucolic horse farms, and one of Kentucky’s best-known rides, the Horsey 100, leading up to Memorial Day weekend May 2023. This tour will begin in historic Versailles KY with three days of hub-and-spoke rides in the rolling hills of Woodford, Franklin, and Fayette counties which comprises the majority of bourbon distilleries in KY. The fourth day we will tour the capitol Frankfort on our way to Georgetown where we will gear up to do the Horsey 100 (registration for the ride is included).
This tour will include three group meals, happy hour beverages each day, all hotel accommodations, breakfast every morning, and a commemorative bicycle jersey designed by the ride leader. The ride leader will also collect any bourbon or wine purchases and bring them back to the hotel(s) so you do not have to carry those purchases on your bicycle.
ATTRACTIONS
We will be riding past 10 bourbon distilleries and a couple wineries throughout the ride. Distilleries include, Buffalo Trace, Barrel House, Castle & Key, Four Roses, James E Pepper, Old Crow, Town Branch, Wild Turkey, and Woodford Reserve.
