Our recent People Cycling Annual Survey indicated an interest among members for longer, epic tours that include wilderness immersion and even ‘glamping’ (yes, camping), and we are excited to offer Alaska’s Golden Circle – Haines to Skagway via the Yukon and British Columbia as a repeat of our first such tour in the summer of 2021. Come join us July 5th – July 13th for an epic 360-mile loop with over 17,000 feet of climbing during this extraordinary 9-day adventure that is far more than just 7 cycling days.
Rated the number one bike tour among Alaskans, the Golden Circle offers something for everyone – great natural scenery, beautiful waterways, towering mountains, alpine valleys, excellent road cycling milage, moderate climbing, great food, interesting local culture and gold rush history, user-friendly campcraft, a digital disconnect (at times) and full support.
The physical towns of beautiful eagle centric Haines and the bushwhacking Gold Rush feel of Skagway are only fifteen miles apart by water ferry yet by road they are 360 miles apart and those paved roads pass through some of the most breathtaking scenery in Alaska and Canada.
